What is the Virtual Zone?
The Virtual Zone is collaborative and innovative community space in which users can create, invent, socialize, and work with state-of-the-art software and equipment. The Virtual Zone facilitates authentic learning experiences, while promoting 21st century skills and multiple literacies.
The Soundbooth, equipped with various hardwares such as Apple iMac, Rode NT1-A Cardioid Condenser Microphone, Sennheiser HD 280 PRO Headphones, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface, and Digital Audio Workstations such as GarageBand and Avid Pro Tools, allows users to follow their creative aspirations, whether that is with creating music, podcasts, voiceovers, or reciting poetry. A PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 music mixer is also available for high-definition mixing.
A second Apple iMac, equipped with iMovie and Avid Media Composer First, allows teens to create professional‑looking videos for YouTube, social media, music videos, commercials, school projects, and much more. This iMac is also equipped with a Wacom drawing tablet with interactive pen display which allows you to sketch, draw, and edit images.
