COLLECTION DESCRIPTION
Historical Note: The Boynton Beach Sorosis Club was affiliated with the Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Its initial meeting was held 11 Nov 1964, and the group voted to dissolve on 13 April 1993. Annual activities included parade floats, tenth-grade high school students of the month, and fashion shows, as well as other volunteering and charitable activities.
Scope and Content Note: Chiefly records and scrapbooks detailing the activities of the Sorosis Club, including meeting minutes, event photographs and programs, and some organizational material. Of significant note is the scrapbook collection, which details all activities through each year.
