Art in City Buildings

Application Deadline: Rolling

BoyntonArts seeks paintings, drawings, prints, photography, and other 2D works for display in the City of Boynton Beach buildings. Works will be displayed in public lobbies and staff office areas including the Mayor and City Commissioners. The works will be identified with wall text and can be available for sale. BoyntonArts will have a special webpage that shows all the art with links to the artists.

The minimum loan period is six months with a preference for a year commitment. Buildings include City Hall, Carolyn Sims Center, Utilities Headquarters, Intracoastal, Senior Center, and historic Women's Club building, now an event rental facility. Works that depict the people, events, fishing, sports, cars, businesses, buildings, bridges, canals, landscapes, seascapes, etc. from Boynton Beach are appreciated, but not a mandatory requirement.

City Hall at DuskYour work will be insured and the artist will receive a $100 honorarium for each work displayed.

The application should provide the following information:

  • 1 to 5 works for consideration
  • Resume
  • Bio
  • Link to website, social media handles, and any other digital media available

The policy of the Public Art Program is to support diverse, equitable, and inclusive arts. All exhibitions should include a cultural and ethnic diversity of artists.
