The Boynton Beach Police Department Training Unit is committed to providing the highest-level training standards related to deescalation and critical thinking. We proactively seek training courses that will improve our officers' skills related to crisis intervention, critical incident stress management, safe and legal traffic stops and diversity.
Personnel have participated in more than 70 specialized training classes over the past year, in addition to continuing education training required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
