Eduardo Mendieta

Originally from NJ, Eduardo Mendieta has been living in Florida for the last 30 years. His passion for the arts started at a young age. In his teens he began painting graffiti on abandoned buildings and walls.

This opened his mind to the ideas of scale and design, and the ideology behind public art. Later working as graphic designer his interest in graffiti expanded to include typography and design.

Now, locally known as EMO for painting large-scale murals utilizing brushes & rollers, paint sprayers and spray paint techniques, this passion developed into a blend of raw urban art and graphic design that has become his signature style.
