CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH SEEKS TALENTED
ARTIST TO TEACH YOUTH CLASSES
The Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center is seeking a talented visual artist interested in teaching an engaging youth workshop this fall. In addition to leading the two Saturday sessions, the selected artist will receive $500 and be featured in a solo art exhibition at the historic Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center from November 1 to December 13.
The Juice Boxes & Paint workshop is for children ages 8 to 12 and will be from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 and Saturday, December 13. Each workshop will host 20 students. All art supplies will be provided, participants will be able to take them home after each class and a hot box lunch will also be provided to every child.
This initiative is funded in part by the generous support of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Artist Eligibility:
- Open to regional artists residing in Florida (Palm Beach County residents preferred)
- Must have professional experience teaching youth visual arts
- Must pass a Level II background screening

- 3–5 images of relevant artwork (minimum of 3, maximum of 5 for initial review)
