The City’s Planning and Zoning Division is preparing to launch a new development services platform that will allow customers to fully submit and track development applications online. The new platform, which is run through the City's existing SagesGov software, will include improvements such as:

  • Improve and streamline the existing development application processes with the elimination of paper submittals;
  • Reduce the City’s carbon footprint by eliminating the need for paper submittals;
  • Decrease review times significantly; and
  • Improve project coordination and functionality with real time feedback, status updates and reporting.

"We are very excited to bring our Planning & Zoning processes into our SagesGov electronic permitting platform," said Assistant City Manager Adam Temple. "This Department-wide transformation will now allow for our customers (residents & businesses) to conduct business and have access to our various services 24/7/365 without ever needing to visit City Hall. "

The new platform is expected to launch in early March of 2023.
