[ARCHIVED] City Hosting Art & Autism Expo

In celebration of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, the City of Boynton Beach, in conjunction with FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), is hosting the Art & Autism Expo at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center in Downtown Boynton (125 E. Ocean Ave.). This free exhibit features a variety of artwork by 23 individuals with Autism, including:

  • Darrell Wilkes 
  • Derek Rhoades-DiLiberti
  • Indiana Crehan

  • Joseph Michael Vidal
  • Keith's Art World
  • Kiora Slate Layla Crehan
  • Margie-Lee Rodriguez 
  • Max Zengage
  • Michael Martin
  • Ollie Gasparini
  • Rachael Buchalter
  • Ryan Betesh
  • Sean McGovern 
  • Sophie De Souza Lima

Artwork is available for sale. 

“We are excited to host this event in partnership with FAU CARD which provides a wonderful opportunity for these amazing artists to showcase their work in a gallery space,” said Stephanie Soplop, the City’s ADA (Title II) Coordinator. 

Exhibit sponsors include Florida Atlantic University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, the City of Boynton Beach, BoyntonArts, The Flasterstein Family and The Chocolate Spectrum.

The Arts & Cultural Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 am - 8  pm, and Saturdays from  9 am – 1 pm.  The exhibit is closed on Sunday.  For more information, or for ADA accommodations, email ada@bbfl.us or call 561-742-6649.
