[ARCHIVED] Boynton Beach to Hold Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom

Attendees should come hungry. A variety of food trucks will offer plenty of fare available for purchase, including Carter House Catering, Carnahan’s East Coast Events Lemonade Stand, Hook's Family Affair, Kona Ice, Peanut Plug, Raniya's Rainbow Rods, Rusty's Caribbean Cuisine and Shrimp Conch Ceviche. In addition, the All Pro Rehab "Who's Bad" Bar-B-Que Cookoff Contest will be held to determine the best griller in the city.

There will be live performances from the stage, including Ohlela and Erykah Officer, who will keep the crowd entertained throughout the event. Free children's activities such as games, Legos, face painting (courtesy of Pathways to Prosperity), bounce houses (courtesy of GL Homes) and more will be available. 

Several local businesses and organizations will be on site, including Boynton Beach Fire Rescue, Boynton Beach Police Department, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Troop 24514, Gospel Fellowship Church, iThink Financial, Pathways to Prosperity, St. John Missionary Baptist Church and YWCA of Palm Beach County. Supporting sponsors Vital Bridge Health/International College of Health Science and Raising Canes will also have tents.
