The community is invited to the Dennis Walters Golf Show on Sunday, April 7 at the Links at Boynton Beach. World Golf Hall of Fame professional Dennis Walters and his therapy dog Gussie will provide a one-hour combination show that includes golf mastery, human inspiration and entertainment. At age 24, Walters was riding in an old style three-wheel golf cart down a steep hill when the brakes failed. Walters was thrown from the cart and suffered severe spinal cord damage, which resulted in him being diagnosed as a T-12 level paraplegic. Overcoming adversity and defying the odds, he is one of only two golfers to have won The Ben Hogan Award, The Bob Jones Award, The PGA of America's Distinguished Service Award, as well as induction into The World Golf Hall of Fame. This free, family-friendly show will take place on the driving range and teach not only golf lessons but also life lessons. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
