Water Tower Color

The City  prides itself on offering high quality accessible programs to people of all abilities. Did you know that in 2016 the City of Boynton Beach became the first municipality in Palm Beach County to be named an Autism Friendly city?

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a group of complex neurodevelopment disorders characterized by repetitive and characteristic patterns of behavior and difficulties with social communication and interaction that affects 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys. The month of April is World Autism Month and Monday, April 2nd has been named Autism Awareness Day. Hundreds of thousands of landmarks, buildings, homes and communities around the world, will be lit up blue in recognition of people living with autism.

Together we can raise awareness and make a difference for people with autism. Learn more.

Light it Up!

Have a suggestion for a water tower color? Let us know!  We generally light it up to correspond with national events such as Autism Awareness month (blue-April) and American Heart month (red-February).
