Summer Camps

Camp Boynton is offered at 2 locations. Each camp enriches and empowers kids through exciting field trips, games, team building and character building activities.  Ages 5-12 | 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. | One session offered 6/11 - 8/3

  • Hester Center; An unforgettable 8 weeks of fun! Each week has a different theme and activities planned will coincide with the theme. Does "Messy Olympics" and "Space Station Vacation" and weekly field trips sound like a blast? Then this is the camp for you!
  • Sims Center; Looking for an active 8 weeks of camp complete with creative crafts, swimming, weekly field trips and time playing in local parks? Kids will have a great time visiting places like Paradise Cove water park and Lion Country Safari.

Gallons of green glowing liquids; strange objects flying through the air; messages written in secret code; autonomous robots; mystery substances that change from solid to liquid in seconds...sound fun? Mad Science Camp is noted for its trademark ‘edutainment’ philosophy, which cultivates enthusiasm and a sense of wonder in children. This camp provides hands-on exploration and the opportunity to witness scientific phenomena. Camp will take
place at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for children entering 1st through 6th grade. The cost is $300 per week. Register online. Contact 561-747-3033 for more information.

June 11-15. Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? Campers will have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take home lots of gadgets like spy glasses! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime
scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a journey into the world of investigation!

Each day you’ll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome by using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors and the most important thing of all – your mind! With a little bit of ingenuity you’ll construct catapults and forts and then lay siege, fabricate a winning Egg Drop design, construct a dancing robot and assemble a working light saber to take home. 

Take an in-depth look at the science behind everyday machines and cool science in this camp about engineering. We’ll see how your Jr. Mad Scientist brings their inner engineer to life while they construct
an amazing kaleidoscope, learn about levers and create their own contraptions. In the process even become architects by building our own geodesic dome that we’ll even get a chance to climb inside!

In this camp, children will learn about the critters and beasts that roam our beautiful planet. The kids will dissect owl pellets, build an insect and bird house and scavenge for food like the animals do.  They will also make awesome discoveries about Earth and what part they can play in keeping it healthy. They will make paper, learn about recycling, build their own cell and even cook solar nachos!

A week-long camp that will offer a variety of stimulating challenges using gymnastics skills and equipment. Learning takes place in the mornings with challenges in the afternoon. Hula Surf and Paddle School offers one of the most comprehensive and educational surf and ocean safety camps in the area for ages 6-12. Their mission is to educate children on basic ocean safety, respecting our beaches and each other, marine life and of course, surfing! Learn to surf and refine your surfing skills. Instructors are first aid and CPR certified and their enthusiasm in the water will ensure a great time! All equipment, including surfboards, is
included. Participants must know how to swim. Wear a royal blue rash guard (or you can purchase one at camp for $20), board shorts and sunscreen. Pack a lunch daily. 1:7 ratio. Camp takes place at Oceanfront Park from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with 5 weekly sessions beginning June 4. The cost is $225R, $275NR per week. Register

Led by experienced high school coaches, young players will learn more about the sport and improve their fundamentals. Kids will take part in a variety of drills including perimeter shooting, ball handling, free throw shooting, passing, agility drills and rebounding. They will learn how to run offensive sets and play defense. Participants will participate in actual game situations during the week to see how they have developed. 1:20 ratio. Calling all serious, budding young artists! Refine your talents through structured, guided activities and fine art projects led by Ms. Helena. Learn about artists and various styles of art. Perfect your techniques to create beautiful artwork ready to showcase!

Get a jump-start on your future as a lifeguard with the Junior Lifeguard Academy. Junior lifeguarding introduces you to these essential lifeguard skills: prevention of aquatic accidents, fitness, and swimming professionalism of a lifeguard. The Academy consists of coursework as well as in-water and land skill drills and will provide a certification in CPR and First Aid.

Get your kids involved in a variety of sports to keep them active and healthy during the summer! Children will experience basketball, flag football and field trips with a sports theme. Field trip fees are separate and can be paid prior to each field trip.

FINE ARTS FREE DAYS

FIT2PLAY DAYS
