Fire Fees

Plan Review / Permit Fee (Includes first inspection):  At time of submittal, 100% of total fees due must be paid for values up to 1.5 million. If greater than 1.5 million, 50% of total fess due must be collected up front and remainder collected prior to issuance of permit. 
Fee: 0.60% of total contract value up to 1.5 million or $100 whichever is greater. 

Fire Alarm & All Other Automatic Fire Suppression Systems (Includes first inspection): At time of submittal, 100% of total fees due must be paid for values up to 1.5 million. If greater than 1.5 million, 50% of total fess due must be collected up front and remainder collected prior to issuance of permit. 
Fee: .75% of the total contract value or $100 whichever is greater. 

Site Plan Review: Must be paid at time of submittal. 
Fee: $100.00. 

Work commencing without a permit:  
Fee: 4X permit fee. 

Plan Revision Fee: 
Fee: $100.00. 

2nd & Repeated Corrections: 
Fee: $50.00. 

Re-Inspections: 
Fees: 
1st inspection: No charge. 
2nd re-inspections: $100.00. 
3rd re-inspections: $150.00.  
4th & subsequent re-inspections: $250.00. 

Inspection After Hours: 
Fees: $100 per hour (2 hours minimum).

In the event the annual Fire and Life Safety Inspection fee is not paid, the city may enforce non-compliance with this section by sending a notice to the Property Owner and then proceeding to the Code Compliance Board due to the responsible parties’ failure to pay the annual Fire and Life Safety Inspection fee.
