After his successes at California’s Coachella Festival and Abu Dhabi’s MOTN Festival, Los Angeles based Artist Andrew Kovacs returns to Boynton Beach to unveil his concrete 35 foot long “Big Bench” sculpture on Monday, March 20 (12:00 pm) at the Oakwood Square shopping center (320 N. Congress Ave.).
The City will host a Vince Wilfork Speaking Engagement on Wed., March 15 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Ezell Hester Jr. Community Center (1901 N. Seacrest Blvd.). This free community event is limited to the first 500 attendees.
The 2023 City of Boynton Beach Municipal Election will take place on Tues., March 14. Please note that only registered voters residing in Districts 2 and 4 are eligible to vote in this upcoming election.
Polls will be open from 7 am - 7 pm. Find your voting precinct.

The Boynton Beach PAL Basketball Program is hosting All-Star Team tryouts on Friday, March 3 from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Center (1901 N. Seacrest Blvd.) in Boynton Beach. The top young men (ages 17-19) who try out will be selected for the team and compete in the Necelina McDonald (NMMF) Memorial Foundation basketball tournament in Brooklyn, New York this April.
This free event will offer community members the opportunity to network and build relationships with City Commission members and staff in a casual setting.
Eighty open positions in a variety of departments are open. Qualified candidates will be interviewed on the spot.
Online development applications process will be implemented in early March 2023.
City facilities will be closed in observance of President's Day. Trash will be picked up as normally scheduled.
In addition to the 6 pm “Magic Wheels” unveiling, this free event, which runs from 5 pm – 8 pm, will include, children’s activities, J & J Soul Food, music by the Exceptional Ensembell Hand Bell Choir and The Spotlighters, and a showcase in which local organizations will be selling products created for and/or sold by individuals with disabilities.
