On Friday, Oct. 15, beginning at 6:30 pm, the City will host Friday Flicks, a free outdoor movie at Centennial Park in Downtown Boynton. The featured film, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, starring Johnny Depp, will be shown on a large screen under the City’s historic Banyan tree.
The City, in partnership with CareerSource Palm Beach County, is hosting a Job Fair + Educational Opportunities Showcase on Thursday, October 14 from 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center (125 E. Ocean Ave.) in Downtown Boynton.
The City of Boynton Beach’s Public Arts Program has announced their next art exhibition, Dual Conversations, featuring textiles by two South Florida artists – Laura Marsh and Gillian Kennedy Wright. The exhibition will be on display beginning Opening Night (Friday, October 8 - 5:30 pm) through Saturday, November 20 at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center, 125 East Ocean Ave. in Downtown Boynton. Opening night will feature a “Meet & Greet” with both artists. Admission is free. Exhibition hours for the duration of the exhibit are Monday – Friday, 10 am to 8 pm and Saturdays from 9 am – 1 pm.
The City is hosting a series of Public Input Meetings to obtain community feedback regarding the City’s expenditure of American Rescue Act Plan (ARPA) funds.
The City announces a free family-friendly monthly concert series, First Fridays @ 5. The concerts will take place at the Centennial Park Amphitheater in downtown Boynton Beach (120 East Ocean Avenue) from 5 - 8 pm on the first Friday of each month.
The City’s Sign Code, within the Land Development Regulations, Chapter 4, Article IV have been reviewed by a staff team, and proposed amendments are available for viewing and comment
The City’s Arts & Cultural Center, located at 125 E. Ocean Ave. in Downtown Boynton, will hosts a “Fall into the Arts” Open House on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 12 - 4:00 pm. Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy an afternoon that will include free entertainment and activities, music, artist vendors, class demonstrations, performances, contests, and a chance to win prizes and giveaways.
The first 500 unvaccinated community members to attend and receive a free vaccine at the event will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
