Community Invited to Climate Action Workshop

The City invites community members to provide input at their Climate Action Workshop on Tuesday, October 29 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at the Boynton Beach Senior Center, 1021 S. Federal Hwy. Topics covered at this interactive workshop will include:

• Climate Resilience
• Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy
• Transportation
• Trees & Greenspace
• Waste Reduction & Consumption

“This workshop will provide community members with an opportunity to discuss how citizens and government can work together to reduce our community’s carbon footprint and prepare for a changing climate.” according to the City’s Sustainability Coordinator, Rebecca Harvey. “The community’s input will be utilized to develop a 2020 Climate Action Plan.” 

The first 30 attendees will receive a complimentary Go Green stainless steel water bottle.  Additional details can be found at GoGreenBoyntonBeach.com.
