City Hosting Art & Autism Expo

In celebration of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, the City of Boynton Beach, in conjunction with FAU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), is hosting a hybrid Art & Autism Expo at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center in Downtown Boynton (125 E. Ocean Ave.) and online. This free exhibit features artwork by 13 individuals with Autism, six of whose work is on display in person, with links to all artists’ work available on the City’s website for virtual viewing experiences. A variety of artwork is included, including jewelry, hand drawings, digital art, a hard rock guitar solo and more.

Some artwork is available for purchase. Artists include:

“The City of Boynton Beach is well known as an Inclusive City, and we are so excited to feature these amazing artists at our newly opened Arts & Cultural Center,” according to Debbie Majors, the City’s Grants & ADA Coordinator. 

The Arts & Cultural Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 am - 7 pm, and Saturdays from  9 am – 1 pm. The virtual exhibit is available online 24/7.
