Virtual Programming, watch wherever you are.

Career Month 2021 - Throughout the month of January, the library will host various programs designed to help you improve your professional skills and gain essential career knowledge. All programs are free and open to the public.

Adult Reading Club - The Annual Adult Reading Club is back! Starting Monday, January 4, pick up a reading log from the library and read ten books between January 4-March 27 to earn a special gift. You must have a valid Boynton Beach City Library card to participate, and need to register by February 27. Only books read during the Adult Reading Club dates will be eligible.

NEW - Teeny Tiny Storytime - Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 and 11:00 AM
Storytime for 0-5 years old returns in a special, small-group format! Teeny Tiny Storytime will include new and familiar songs, interactive stories, and a toddler-friendly take-home activity. Up to three participants (includes parents/guardians and children) may sign up for one twenty minute storytime session.

Face-coverings will be required for adult participants, and the five participant maximum will be strictly observed for the safety of patrons and staff. 

NEW - Book a Librarian - Mondays and Wednesdays at 3, 3:30, 4:15, and 5 PM
Are you struggling to find online resources that meet your child’s learning needs? Need a book list that fits your child’s Lexile level and interests? Wondering how to improve reading literacy outside of the classroom? Sign up for a one-on-one session with a Youth Services librarian to explore these and other questions.

Does your child need extra help with homework? Tutoring in math or reading? Sign up for a 30-minute tutoring session with Olivia, our Literacy AmeriCorps volunteer.

Virtual Storytime
Enjoy a virtual storytime with your children and help build their early literacy skills through rhyming, singing, reading aloud, and movement. No registration required. Visit our Storytime Youtube Playlist to watch all storytime videos.


Dear Future Self - Entire month of January
Did you know people who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them? Set an intention for the New Year and stop by Youth Services to write it in a letter. We will mail your letter and a surprise back to you in 11 months. Can you stick to your New Year’s Resolution?

MakerSpace with Creative Christina, Grab 'n' Go Craft Kits - January 14 at 10 AM
In this interactive virtual craft program, learn how to make yarn balls with Creative Christina! Prior to the program, visit City Hall on January 11 or 12 to check out a grab 'n' go craft kit with all the supplies needed to make the craft.

Ace Adobe - January 28 at 11 AM
Learn how to use the various Adobe Creative Cloud programs in this live, virtual event. This month’s session will provide an overview of working inside Adobe Photoshop. No registration required. Follow us on social media or visit our YouTube channel to watch.

Adult English Private Meetings - Weekly, Monday through Thursday from 2-7 PM
Sign up for sessions of 30 minutes to an hour. We will discuss what is most important to you!

Quilters - Thursdays from 9 AM - 12 PM
Anyone who loves to sew can exchange tips and techniques on the art of quilting at this weekly workshop where participants jointly create quilted items. The Quilters sell these quilts and quilted items to promote and support the Boynton Beach City Library. Lifetime membership cost is $1. Due to COVID-19, capacity is limited to 4 quilters at a time, held in the Florida Room.

Coffee Chat - Second Tuesday of each month, 12 PM (Cancelled for January)
