Join us all month long to enjoy free virtual programs on career development, explore online learning and job preparation databases, find community job resources, and more!

  • LinkedIn Like a Boss – Tuesday, January 5 at 3 p.m:
    LinkedIn is a social media platform that is crucial to modern networking and showcasing career history and skills. Learn how to create your own, and tips and tricks for optimizing it to improve your job search chances. Register for the program today.

  • Developing an Effective Resume, led by FAU Career Center – Monday, January 11 at 11 a.m:
    A resume is the central component of almost every job application. In this workshop with FAU Career Center, you'll learn formatting guidelines and tips for creating a resume that is dressed to impress. Register for the program today.

  • Conducting an Effective Job Search – Wednesday, January 13 at 1 p.m:
    In today's modern age, most applicants search for jobs online using sites like Indeed and ZipRecruiter. This process is easy, but can lead one to applying for jobs that seem fine at the surface, but in reality are awful. Listen to know what red flags to watch for, and tips for refining your search to see the best job matches. Register for the program today.

  • Job Application Tips & Tricks – Tuesday, January 19 at 12 p.m:
    You've got your resume, work experience, and a great skillset. Now it's time to prove it on the job application. Presented by the City of Boynton Beach Human Resources department, discover what employers look for on a job application and how you can set yourself apart in the applicant pool. Register for the program today.

  • Career Prep with the Library – Monday, January 25 at 11 a.m:
    In our final event of Career Month, get an overview of all the resources that the Boynton Beach City Library provides to support your career growth and job search.
