Through the final phase of the C.A.R.E.S Program, the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Department offers a limited number of scholarships to area individuals who aspire to have a career in Fire Service and are active in the community, displays ambition to achieve by learning the necessary knowledge and skillset needed to become a successful career firefighter.
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of Boynton Beach
- Be graduating high school or enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution the year the scholarship is awarded
- Obtain a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrate a positive impact/involvement within their community and/or school
- Pass a complete background screening
The application must be filled out completely and all supporting documentation can be accepted through the application, via email (post343@bbfl.us) or by hand delivery to Fire Station #5 (2080 High Ridge Rd.).
