COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
The City of Boynton Beach received $582,437 in grant funding from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for FY 2021. The following recommendations will be considered for approval at the City Commission Meeting on August 3, 2021 regarding the projects and activities listed below.
Alzheimer’s Community Care: $25,000.00
Boynton Beach Faith-Based CDC: $62,366.00
Public Services Total: $87,366.00
Housing Rehabilitation: $328,584.00
Housing Rehabilitation Delivery: $50,000.00
Planning & Administration: $116,487.00
Total Expenditures: $582,437.00
The plan will be available for public inspection and for a three (3) days comment period to end Thursday, July 16, 2021, in the Community Improvement Division office located at 100 E. Ocean Avenue, Boynton Beach, Florida 33435, in accordance with HUD’s Consolidated Plan Regulation 24 CFR 91.105 “Citizen Participation”. Written comments on the report should identify the author of the comment by name, address and interest affected and sent to RJ Ramirez, Grants Manager (561-742-6359) at the above address. The City Commission will consider final approval of the plan at their regular meeting on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 5:30 at Commission.
