Summer Camps

2020 Summer Camp registration begins February 1. View our camps below and find what best suits your child for an unforgettable camp experience with the City of Boynton Beach.

Camp Boynton is offered for kids ages 5-12 at Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Center and the Sims Center. Camp Boynton enriches and empowers kids through exciting field trips, games, sports, team building and character building activities. 

Camp Boynton runs from June 8 through July 31. Camp hours are 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The cost for the 8 week session is $550 residents, $690 nonresidents for campers registered by April 30. Beginning May 1, fees increase to $650 residents, $815 non-residents.

Scholarships that cover full-tuition and fees for Camp Boynton are available through Palm Beach County Youth Services for children residing in families with income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Scholarships available on a first come, first serve basis until funds have been exhausted. Check eligibility and apply online - scholarships are issued on a first come, first served basis.  

Looking to explore this summer? Camp Destination is a travel camp focused on field trips to all sorts of awesome places throughout south Florida! Offered for ages 11-15. Space is limited.

Camp Destination has two sessions: June 8 through July 2 and July 6 through July 31. Camp hours are 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The cost per session is $500 residents, $625 nonresidents.

Kids ages 10-14 can get a jump-start on their future as a lifeguard! Junior lifeguarding introduces essential lifeguard skills through hands-on instruction, drills and coursework. Campers will receive a certification in CPR and First Aid.

Junior Lifeguard Academy offers one sessions: June 9  through  July 31. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The cost per session is $520 residents, $650  non-residents.

Hula Surf and Paddle School offers one of the most comprehensive and educational surf and ocean safety camps
in the area for ages 6-12. Their mission is to educate children on basic ocean safety, respecting our beaches and each other, marine life and of course, surfing! Learn to surf and refine your surfing skills. Instructors are first aid and CPR certified and their enthusiasm in the water will ensure a great time!

All equipment, including surfboards, is included. Participants must know how to swim. Wear a royal blue rash guard (or you can purchase one at camp for $20), board shorts and sunscreen. Camp takes place at Oceanfront Park from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with four weekly sessions beginning June 24. The cost is $225R, $275NR per week. Summer Camp Registration

Registration for all summer camps must take place in person at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse (2240 N. Federal Highway, Boynton Beach) Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Appointments outside office hours are available upon request, please call (561) 742-6650 to schedule a time.

Proof of residency is required. Payment plans available for registrations processed prior to April 30. *  There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per camper.
