Bob Borovy Student Citizen of the Year Award

We are seeking our 20th recipient of the Bob Borovy Student Citizen of the Year Award! Graduating high school seniors who reside in the City of Boynton Beach and are active volunteers in the community are encouraged to apply for the Borovy Award by March 29. The recipient will receive a $1,000 cash award and have his/her name placed on the permanent plaque.

About Bob Borovy

A United States Veteran and former Children & Youth Advisory Board Member, Mr. Borovy was an active citizen in Boynton Beach for many years. Mr. Borovy epitomized the spirit of volunteerism and giving through his service and dedication to the community.


About the Borovy Award

Founded in 2000, the Bob Borovy Student Citizen of the Year Award has awarded 19 graduating seniors $25,250 in cash awards. The Education & Youth Advisory Board participates in fundraising opportunities year-round in support of the Borovy Award.
