The Boynton Beach City Library will continue its popular Brown Bag Lecture Series in 2024 with an array of thought-provoking topics, including the healing benefits of sound baths, the history of Boynton Beach, brain health and more. The program will run every Monday, excluding holidays, from January to March. The first lecture, “Child of the Holocaust,” is by Dr. William Reszelbach, who will share holocaust history and his family’s harrowing experiences at the hands of the Nazis. It will be from noon to 1 p.m. January 8 in the Community Room in City Hall, 100 E. Ocean Ave.
“This year, we welcome a phenomenal lineup of speakers who will share their expertise in an array of fascinating topics,” Library Director Jeannie Taylor said. “I encourage residents to join us.”
The Brown Bag Lecture Series is hosted annually by the library in partnership with The Friends of the Library. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches and prepare for enlightening learning experiences.
