Get Involved

The City encourages civic groups to get involved in their community and will place a sign in the adopted park, crediting the organization for their assistance to promote this very special community partnership. The purpose of the program is to enlist the community’s involvement with selective maintenance within a park in order to maintain a clean park environment for all to enjoy. Tasks can include trash pickup, graffiti reporting, weeding/raking playgrounds, sweeping shelters, cleaning picnic tables, mulching trees/shrubs, and reporting vandalism. If your community group or business would like to get involved, please call Roz Rizzo at 561-742-6225.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary 54 hosts the “America’s Boating Course” covering all boating and safety procedures. Please call 561-966-2158 for dates and more information on other classes and services.
