The Commission-Manager form of government governs Boynton Beach. Voters elect a Mayor and four Commissioners who meet twice monthly to set forth City policy. The Commission appoints a City Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the City. The City Commission appoints members to various Advisory Boards. The boards research, study and discuss issues forwarding their recommendations to the City Commission. The City Attorney's office provides legal services to elected officials, appointed officials and staff in conducting City business. The City Clerk's office is responsible for administering the records management program for the City and maintaining a central file for its own records and those of the City.
