| PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES THE 2008-09
CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR'S HOLIDAY PICKUP SCHEDULE
The Solid Waste Division's Residential Pickup Schedule for the Christmas/New Year's Holiday is as follows:
- Wednesday, December 24th – Normal Pick Up
- Thursday, December 25th – No Collection. No Makeup Day
- Thursday, January 1st – No Collection. No Makeup Day
For your convenience, we will place a roll-off in the Public Works employee Parking Lot located at 222 NE 9th Avenue from December 19th thru January 9th for your co-mingled recycling. Additionally, there will be two dumpsters in the same area for cardboard and paper ONLY. There are three additional drop-off locations for paper/cardboard ONLY located at:
- Walmart – Old Boynton Road – West Side of the Parking Lot
- Sun-Sentinel – 4935 Park Ridge Blvd
- Corporate Drive – 1800 Block – Parking Lot West Side
If you have any questions regarding the holiday pickup schedule, please call the Public Works Department at 742-6200, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. Please note that the Public Works Department offices will be closed on December 25th and 26th and January 1st.
