The City of Boynton Beach is all ready for its 48th Annual Holiday Parade and the Light up the Park events, which will be held on Saturday, December 1st in Downtown Boynton beginning at 4 pm. Below are associated road closures and parking options:
Beginning at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 1st, Federal Hwy. will be closed from Boynton Beach Blvd. to Woolbright Road. There will be no vehicular traffic allowed in this area of Federal Hwy. All avenues and points of entry to Federal Hwy. from auxiliary side streets and parking lots will be blocked off. Motorists should use Boynton Beach Blvd. to NE 6th St. to gain access to the Boynton Harbor Marina, Two Georges Restaurant, Banana Boat Restaurant and the Ocean Avenue bridge. The estimated time of reopen for Federal Hwy. is between 8 and 9 pm.
Free Public Parking
The City has designated several areas along the parade route (which will take place on Federal Hwy, starting at SE 12th Ave. and ending at NE 1st Ave.) for free, public parade parking. Parking areas are located at:
• Pence Park; 601 SE 4th St. (at the corner of SE 4th St. and SE 5th Ave.)
• Journey Church; 715 S Federal Hwy. (between SE 4th St. and Federal Hwy.)
• Ocean One; 114 N Federal Hwy. (between NE 5th St. and Federal Hwy. - This location will also serve as a ride sharing location.)
ADA parking is located at 508 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. (at the corner of NE 4th St. and Boynton Beach Blvd.).
