Oceanfront Park to host "World's Largest Swimming Lesson" event

Join thousands of kids and families at aquatic facilities and waterparks around the globe for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™  on Thursday, June 22, 2017. We’re making a huge splash to spread the word that "Swimming Lessons Save Lives™".  Don’t miss your chance to participate in the 8th Annual WLSL event to help prevent drowning, the second leading cause of injury-related death of children ages 1-14.

The City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department is hosting an event at Oceanfront Park, 6415 N. Ocean Blvd., Ocean Ridge. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. The event begins precisely at 10:30 a.m. Everyone participating in the WLSL event must be registered, in position and ready to begin the lesson well before the official start time for the lesson. Parking fees will be waived for those participating in the event.
