BOYNTON BEACH TOWN SQUARE MASTER PLAN PUBLIC DESIGN WORKSHOP

A Boynton Beach Town Square Master Plan Design Workshop will be held Sat., May 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Boynton Beach Public Library, 208 S. Seacrest Blvd. The Boynton Beach Town Square is a four-block area bounded by Boynton Beach Blvd. to the north, SE 2 Ave. to the south, S. Seacrest Blvd. to the west and SE 1 St. to the east. The area is currently home to the Boynton Beach City Hall, Police Station, Library, Civic Center, Arts Center, Madsen Center (shuffle board courts and Stage Left Theater), the historic Children’s Schoolhouse Museum and the historic Boynton Beach High School.

This hands-on workshop has been designed to bring the community together to explore potential redevelopment opportunities. Participants will be asked to provide a vision, values and ideas for the future of this civic complex. The public is encouraged to attend this important workshop so that specific community-driven recommendations can be provided to the City Commission for consideration.
