Free Classes

Adult Reading Club - Winter 2020
Register at the Customer Relations Desk during normal library hours. Read or listen to ten books, complete the reading log with the books read, and receive a free gift from the Friends of the Boynton Beach City Library. 

Great Books -  2nd, 4th and 5th Mondays from 10 - 11:30 AM
Partake in interesting discussions after reading selections chosen from the Great Books Conversations. The readings are rich in ideas and provoke engaging discussions. A complete program list is available at the Boynton Beach City Library. Meet at Benvenuto, 1730 N. Federal Hwy. 

Great Decisions -  Wednesdays from 10 AM - 12 PM
A program of the Foreign Policy Association, this is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading eight topics in the Briefing Book, watching the DVD and discussing the most critical global issues facing America today. Meet at First Presbyterian Church, 235 SW Sixth Ave. 

Writer's Corner -  2nd Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7 PM
Free manuscript critiquing by published authors! Writers get a helping hand to get their work published. Receive professional help to add the necessary polish your work needs. Even long-time writers appreciate editing. Bring some of your work and have it reviewed for free.

Quilters - Thursdays from 9 AM - 12 PM
Anyone who loves to sew can exchange tips and techniques on the art of quilting at this weekly workshop where participants jointly create quilted items. The Quilters sell these quilts and quilted items to promote and support the Boynton Beach City Library.
