MISSION STATEMENT
Protecting the City's resources using proactive strategies to provide the best customer service with understanding, empathy and consideration. The Risk Management Department protects the City's assets from accidental financial loss.
Our responsibilities include:
- risk financing
- management of self-insurance program
- safety & loss prevention
- management of property & casualty claims
- management of workers' compensation claims
- agreement and contract review
We are also responsible for the City's Safety Program including
- management of safety training for employees,
- incident investigation and review, and safety inspections.
