Recreation and Parks:
Places to Feel Safe and Secure

Every time we read the paper or turn on our TV's we are hear of the safety of Americans in our communities.  The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department plays a significant role in providing community security.  We offer natural places of refuge, allowing people time to think and withdraw from daily stress in safe places where children and adults can freely play.

In Boynton Beach, there are many places that allow citizens the opportunity to enjoy the benefits and the beauty of our tropical climate, including Mangrove Nature Park (east of Federal Highway on NE 4th Street), Palmetto Greens Linear Park (south side of the C-16 Canal, between Seacrest Boulevard and the FEC tracks), at three local preserves and at many neighborhood parks.

The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department is committed to providing special natural places where citizens can enjoy the outdoors and a wide variety of high quality, fun, safe and enriching recreational opportunities.  To find out more about your parks, and a variety of recreation programs, activities and services, call 561-742-6221.

The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department promises to "Make Life Fun" and continues to promote the benefits of recreation and parks to strengthen our community.
