The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department in conjunction with the Sand Sifters is recruiting volunteers for the monthly beach clean up coordinated by the Sand Sifters.

Join the fun and make a difference - The Oceanfront Park Sand Sifters' meet the first Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. at Oceanfront Park. Parking is free; bags, gloves, and refreshments are provided.  This opportunity can be beneficial to area high school students as community service hours are awarded for participation.

Oceanfront Park is located at 6451 North Ocean Blvd. (A1A), Ocean Ridge, just north of Ocean Avenue in Boynton Beach.  Interested volunteers should meet at the picnic pavilion in the lower parking lot to register to participate.

For more information visit www.SandSifters.org, or just show up at the beach on the first Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m.

Understanding our environment and the animals that live side-by-side with us is an important goal of the Sand Sifters. Cleaning the litter that may endanger animals and park visitors is the primary goal.

Be Green, Start Clean, Don't Litter!
