"A living memorial is a lasting tribute."

The City of Boynton Beach Memorial Tree Fund

The Memorial Tree Fund was established to permit individuals, organizations and/or groups to make a contribution to be used towards the planting of commemorative trees on public property throughout the City of Boynton Beach.

A contribution to the Memorial Tree Fund provides an opportunity to express thoughtfulness and concern by a means that contributes to the beautification of our City, environment, and ecosystem. The names of those commemorated and of the donors are inscribed in a special Memorial Book herein. This book is to be displayed in the lobby of City Hall.

A card of acknowledgement is sent to the family or to the person designated by the donor, advising that their loved one has been memorialized in this way. All contributions are acknowledged to donors and are tax deductible. The Memorial Tree Fund has been utilized and supported by individuals, groups and organizations to meet their commemorative needs since 1985.

Public Tribute

The Memorial Tree program allows people to pay public tribute to private love in a quite and constructive way. By providing a self-perpetuating beautification fund, it will, in the long run, turn the entire City into a tribute to those commemorated.

Long after the novelty of the new planting has passed, Boynton Beach residents and visitors will have the tree's cool beauty as silent tribute to the anonymous person for whom it was planted, and the farsighted program, which made it happen.

Send donations along with the name of the individual who you would like to commerate to:  Memorial Tree Fund, Vicki L. Robertson, P.O. Box 310, Boynton Beach, FL  33425-0310
