Boaters, Keep An Eye Out for Manatees!

If you're a boating enthusiast, please use extra caution in our waters. Some other "snowbirds" will be counting on you!

With the arrival of cooler temperatures, Florida's manatees will be gathering in warmer southern areas, such as Boynton Beach. In order to protect these endangered animals, please:

- Comply with all posted boater speed zones and always stay alert for marine life while on the water.

- Resist the urge to touch or feed marine life.

- Do not throw monofilament (fishing line), hooks, or any other litter in the water.

- Call 1-888-404-3922 to report violations, injuries, deaths, and/or harassment of any wild animals (FL Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Division of Law Enforcement).
