Join the Fun!:
On the first Saturday of every month, the Oceanfront Park Sand Sifters beach clean up group meets at 8:00 a.m. Parking is free. Bags, gloves, and refreshments are provided. Community service hours awarded. Visit SandSifters website for more information.
Hours:
The facility is open seven days a week, 365 days a year and is manned by trained and experienced lifeguards from 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Lifeguard Staff:
The lifeguard staff consists of an Ocean Rescue Chief, Ocean Rescue Captain, two Ocean Lifeguard Lieutenants, five Ocean Lifeguards and several on-call Ocean Lifeguards. The staff are certified or licensed as First Responders or EMT's. Additionally, all lifeguard staff are certified to operate AED's (Automated External Defibrillators).
Parking Fees (Daily):
- $10 per car November 16 - April 30.
- $5 per car May 1 - November 15.
Oceanfront Park is also staffed by Parking Attendants. Their job is to collect parking fees, patrol the parking lot, and regulate parking. They can be seen at the entrance booth or on patrol in a golf cart. They, like all City of Boynton Beach employees, will be happy to answer your questions or assist you in other ways if possible.
Parking Decals:
Decals are available at City Hall or at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse. (Please note, beach parking decals are NOT sold at Oceanfront Park.) Decals are vaild October 1 thru September 30, annually.
Residents: Purchaser must be a resident or property owner within the corporate city limits.
- Fee: $30 per decal, payable by check, cash, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard), checks made payable to "City of Boynton Beach."
- Required documents: 1) Current vehicle registration for each vehicle. 2) Proof of corporate city residency and/or proof of property ownership. These may be current water or utility bill (phone, FPL, City of Boynton Beach) postmarked within two months and showing name and address of person obtaining decal or current tax bill, property deed or lease agreement (minimum of 6 months).
Non-Resident Seasonal Beach Decal for Oceanfront Park:
- Decals may be purchased for May 1 - November 15. Valid only within these dates.
- Fee: $90, proof of vehicle registration required.
Rental Car Parking Pass for Oceanfront Park (available at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse only):
- The person(s) to whom this pass is issued must present it and photo ID for entry to Oceanfront Park.
- Fee: $30, payable by check, cash, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard), checks made payable to "City of Boynton Beach."
- Required documents: 1) Copy of rental car agreement. 2) Proof of corporate city residency and/or proof of property ownership. These may be current water or utility bill (phone, FPL, City of Boynton Beach) postmarked within two months and showing name and address of person obtaining decal or current tax bill, property deed or lease agreement (minimum of 6 months).
