Art Center Grounds Certified Wildlife Habitat™

The Art Center is a Certified Wildlife Habitat™.
City employee, Vicki L. Robertson, took on this task and recruited over 70 volunteers to help plant native plants that offer a refuge for wildlife where they can thrive in an urban area.
The City is working towards an eco-minded approach towards gardening, including the minimal use of chemicals and pesticides. This new space will educate the public about the importance of creating places for wildlife, as well as where citizens can retreat to a green space in our community.
A special thank you goes out to the Sand Sifters, for all their support!
Come out and visit your very own community wildlife habitat! For more information click here, or watch the public service announcement on YouTube by clicking here (Go Green Boynton 3 Wildlife Refuge).
