Historical Information
Edward F. Harmening Arbor Park is located on the northwest corner of the East Water Treatment Plant and was originally named Arbor Park. The Recreation and Parks Department provided landscaping for the area in conjunction with the local Garden Club. While in office former Mayor Edward Harmening was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, A fellow Commissioner recommended renaming the park for the Mayor. The current official name of the park is Mayor Edward F. Harmening Arbor Park.

Cabana Rentals at Oceanfront Park!
Oceanside Beach Service has recently set up a cabana service at Oceanfront Park. You can now rent a lounge chair and umbrella to make your experience at the beach even more enjoyable. Prices range from $3.00 per hour for a lounge chair and umbrella to $30 a day for two loungers and an umbrella.
