We host a variety of art/music classes, computer courses, driving classes, and fitness opportunities.

Registration: All seniors, 55 and older, must register at the center and obtain a picture ID that must be worn while in the Senior Center. Registration for residents within corporate city limits is free. For all others (non-residents), the fee is $40 per person per year from October 1 - September 30. Registration takes place on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Transportation: Residents can sign up before 3:00 p.m. the day before they need transportation and the Shopper Hopper will be at their homes to bring them to and from the center. Service is not available on City holidays. Fee: $1.00 round trip; $.50 one way. Call the center for pick-up and drop off times Pick Up: Monday - Friday, 8 & 10 a.m. Drop Off: Monday - Friday, 12:45 & 3 p.m.
Congregate Meal Program - #742-6574 (Sponsored by Mae Volen, State of Florida, Department of Elder Affairs & Area Agency on Aging) To be included in this lunch program, seniors (ages 60 and older) must sign in or call before 11:00 a.m. on the day before they plan to eat at the center. The program takes place Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Donations are greatly appreciated. No lunch is served on City holidays.
COMPUTER CLASSES
Intro to Computers These classes will help you understand how a computer works, why you need one and how or where to buy one. Learn the keyboard, mouse skills and how files are created and saved. Metro Traffic Council Driving Class The National Safety Council is offering a driving class for seniors 50 & older. Refresh your driving skills with this informative program. FITNESS
Fitness Room All seniors must complete a registration packet, bring doctor's approval and meet with Dr. Jeffrey Hoffman to set up a proper individualized program. Equipment: 2 treadmills, two recumbent bicycles, a six-station universal gym. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
