General Information The Boynton Beach Blazers Swim Team is a recreational team that consists of swimmers ages 4 - 17. The team practices 4 days a week and competes in swim meets at least once a month. The Blazers are a part of the South Florida Recreational Swim League along with 15 other teams located between Vero Beach and North Miami.
Tryouts Tryouts are scheduled on Saturdays at 1 p.m. at Denson Pool on a walk-in basis. Swimmers must pass a swim test which is one, 25 yard length of the pool, on the front, unsupported. Once swimmers have passed the swim test, they can either register immediately or be placed on the swim team's waiting list.
Registration Register on-site at Denson Pool. Registration fees are $50 for residents and $62 for non-residents paid once per month and a $15 league registration fee paid per season in fall and spring.
Once a swimmer is registered for the league, team uniforms can be purchased at local sporting goods stores. Check with the Team Supervisor for other suggested sporting goods outlets.
League fees must be paid on time or else swimmers will not be entered as participants for swim meets. Inquire with Swim Team staff for due dates. Checks should be made payable to SFRSL.
Denson Pool Program brochures are available seasonally. Check back for link to the brochure.
