This was a facade improvement project that was initiated by the business owner, Gloria Bowden.  Gloria applied for a Community Redevelopment Agency facade grant for improvements to her building that included a public art mural.  The Arts Commission approved the mural and artist, Dana Donaty, painted it. As you can see from the before and after images this public art mural contributed to a huge improvement to the City.
