"Sailfsh Café Sign"

Sailfish Café signage artwork is an example of how a sign can be made  into a unique identifier for a business or place.

This project was created by an artist who was given the challenge to attract visitors to the City Library's Sailfish Cafe. A call to artists for the project was awarded to the artist with the best approach to a set criteria, budget and timeline. This project would not satisfy the public art ordinance but provides a good example of how hiring artists to achieve captivating, thought provoking and appealing enhancements to ordinary building criteria.
