Location: Entrance area of Schoolhouse Children's Museum, 129 E. Ocean Ave.
In 2008 after its one year display on the Avenue of the Arts the public voted on their top picks and The "Rings of Promise" was the second favorite. The Arts Commission recommended its purchase and the City Commission approved it as part of the Art in Public Places permanent collection.
Artist: Penny Collins
Penny, and her husband Cobert are both Internationally renown sculptors with artwork shown in designer showrooms, galleries, museums, private homes, institutions and corporations. They exhibited in the prestigious 2006 Palm Beach International Biennial Sculpture competition in South Florida, Wellington, Florida. Penny is a ambitious sculpture who has created many bronze and metal sculptures.
