The bronze sculptures that I have created are realistic representations that are examples of creatures that are in danger of disappearing in our area. A Scrub Jay has not been spotted south of Jupiter in quite some time.  In 2003, I encountered as many as seven scrub jays at the Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area.  In the past year, I have not seen one.  These sculptures are life-like examples of native creatures in our area that are vanishing. Gopher Tortoise
