
Art in Public Places is dedicated to celebrating Boynton Beach's heritage and character, creating a cultural environment, and stimulating economic growth. Public artwork will be integrated into the architecture, infrastructure and landscape, making Boynton Beach a premier city in Florida in which to live, work and visit.
The Arts Commission, appointed in April 2005, is the advisory board on matters pertaining to Visual Art. The Arts Commission researched, created and developed the Art in Public Places program.The AIPP programs are funded through the City's public art ordinance.
The Public Art Administrator develops, coordinates and manages the City's Art in Public Places Program.

CRA Beautification: murals to beautify dumpsters in Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) district. Businesses, educational and religious organizations and other commercial trash customers, including multi-unit residential complexes located within the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) district may have their exposed dumpsters enhanced through a unique design initiative. "Postcards from Boynton" project will upgrade dumpsters, replacing them with new dumpsters painted by artists.
