Painter
Kathleen Henner, born in Chicago in 1948, attended the Art Institute of Chicago and later attended Southern Illinois University and Northwestern University. Drawn to the sun and colors of the Caribbean, Kathy moved to South Florida around 1974. Her work reflects her dreams and is known for her brightly colored paintings, furniture and glass. Over the last few years she has been part of a team of art resorators, specializing in the restoration of monumental metals sculptures. Kathy regularly shows her work in the Boynton Beach Art District and was instrumental in it's humble beginnings.

Boca Beach Kathy, who once lived in Highland Beach and now lives in Chicago, painted a series of canvases having to do with the lifestyle of the affluent in the Boca area. This Boca Beach canvas is part of that series and is typical of Kathy's color pallet

Rainbow Butterfly
This acrylic canvas is one of a series of butterflies created with her granddaughter in mind. Who doesn't love to watch butterflies in flight, especially a child and the child in all of us? |
