Public Art Exhibits
The City of Boynton Beach Art in Public Places program is hosting exhibitions that showcase artwork by emerging and professional artists encompassing a variety of mediums. Facilities in Boynton Beach that have interior public space will feature original artwork to link artists with the community and provide the public with an opportunity to gain knowledge and appreciation of artistic excellence.
December 2009 - May 2010 City Library Art Exhibit 208 South Seacrest Boulevard (561) 742-6390 This exhibit. features artwork that speaks to the envirnomental issues, art that is made from recycled materials or calls attention to envirnomental issues. Lucy Keshavarz has a collection of envirnomental artwork called "Opposition: Urban Exotics and Florida Natives?" and additional artists will have their artwork on display along with this collection.
On April 19, 2010 the Arts Connection program will feature a presentation on Envirnomental and Ecoart. featuring the artwork on display in the City Library exhibit.

Communnity artists Jermaine Johnson airbrush paintings) and Anderson Regis (acrylic paintings) have artwork of African Americans that celebrate MLK Day, Black History Month and Hertiage Celebration.
