Arts Commission Vice-Chair Cheryl Arflin moved to the Boynton Beach area in 2000. She has served as editor of the Boynton Beach Times, owned and operated an arts/home decor shop in Boynton Beach, and currently uses her legal skills teaching Business Law at Florida Atlantic University.

Cheryl has a history of public service as a board member of local nonprofits in Virginia where she raised her family. She has been involved as a musician in the performing arts since her childhood and is committed to the concept that Boynton Beach will need to embrace the arts in order to improve the quality of life in the city.

She brings her analytical skills, knowledge of public service, and her personal experience with the arts to the Boynton Beach arts program.
