ITS Functions and Services:

The Information Technology Services department plans, designs, develops and maintains the City's information processing systems, telecommunications systems, Geographical Information Systems, and Boynton Beach Television PEG channel.

Functions include enterprise technology and business continuity planning, technical support,  implementing management standards related to information technology processes, maintaining Internet service including the City of Boynton Beach web site, supporting City's governmental telecommunications systems, and programming for BBTV-18 cable PEG channel. ITS provides central mid-frame and personal computer services supporting an extensive citywide online network.

In partnership with other City Departments, provide strategic direction, business solutions, efficient use and management of information technology and telecommunications to deliver effective government services.
