Public Employees Relations Commission (PERC) 
 
The PERC Commission, sanctioned by the State of Florida PERC, convenes whenever necessary,  to hear petitions before it pertaining to collective bargaining issues such as certification, amending certification, decertification, unfair labor practice or unit clarification, etc.

The Public Employees Relations Commission was created by the State of Florida Legislature to serve as an independent, neutral body.  Local governments could vote to establish a local Public Employees Relation Commission which, when approved by the State PERC, gives substantially the same rights to the local public employees.
